Does MTL have certifications?
We are recognized by the U.S. Forest Service and the Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers, Incorporated as a member in good standing who utilizes timber from the Appalachian Hardwood Forest as defined by AHMI.
Do you have firewood?
Due to our commitment to the environment, we burn all of our waste in a boiler, that helps to power our facility.
Where is Burns, Tennessee?
Burns is 35 miles west of Nashville on I-40.
Do you buy logs?
We do not. MTL purchases green lumber by the truck load to process and sell kiln dried.
Do you sell green lumber?
We do not sell green lumber. The premium lumber we sell is processed and kiln dried.
Can you chop down the walnut tree in front of my house and make it into walnut flooring?
Unfortunately, as much as we would like to accommodate such requests, our operations are not equipped to do so.
Can I bring some lumber in for you to kiln dry for me? I have about 100 board feet of cherry in daddy’s barn.
We’d love to help, but we only purchase green lumber by the truck load to process and sell kiln dried.
Can I go through your dumpster?
